10 boats , 18 paddlers some still feeling the effects of the weekends races , but never the less some paddlers were out to prove a point.
Gavin White and Louw Van Riet, with all that reserved energy from the weekend, steamed off into the distance with the Kohler & Co K3 working up a head of steam in hot pursuit. The White , Van Riet combo smashed the time trial record , and we have a suspicion the K3 record might also have been broken. This still has to be verified. Greatstuff guys.
Veronica Jones from down south joined Meent and Gavin in a K3 and the team worked well together . Welcome back on the water Mike Keth as you prepare for the Fish , if parenthood allows . Robin Tindle made his first appearance on our waters. Hope to see you as a regular , Robin.
