Surfski Paddling

During the summer months(November- March) the majority kayaker take to the sea in their Surfski’s . There is an early morning group that sets out at 6am when the weather and light is good , from the Milnerton Life Saving Club. and  afterwards cook up a cup of coffee before making their way to work.

The favourite amongst a lot of the guys is to participate in the Tuesday Down Wind Dash , from Milnerton to Big Bay  (10.5km)

There are many spots around the Cape Coast that one can launch from i.e Three Anchor Bay, Oceanna Boat Club in Granger bay, Hout Bay, Fish Hoek, Miller Point,.

There is nothing better than to play in the waves with your surfski. It has good strength building benefits.
